When did you start making music and how was the process of starting your band "The Score"?
THE SCORE: We met through a mutual friend in New York City about six years ago. At first we were trying to write and produce songs for other artists, but a year and a half into doing that we had a collection of these songs that sounded like a band. Shortly after that we decided to start a band and to start playing those songs live and that's how "The Score" was formed.
Describe your band with 3 words!
THE SCORE: Anthemic, Loud, Motivational
What are your personal favorite artists?
THE SCORE: We like a ton of different artists. Off the top of our heads we like Cold War Kids, Imagine Dragons, Kaleo, Snakehips, Zayn...too many to count.
If you had to live on a desert island and you were only allowed to take ONE album with you - which album would that be? And why this album?
THE SCORE: Hmmm thats tough..there's so many amazing albums. 'Songs About Jane' by Maroon 5 really is what made us want to make cool pop music and it had this credibility because of how intelligent the music was. Continuum by John Mayer was another one of those albums where he was making blues awesome. 'Rumors' by Fleetwood Mac was ahead of it's time...No idea which to pick.
What are your plans for 2017?
THE SCORE: We are releasing a brand new EP April 14th called "Myths & Legends" that we're super excited about. We will continue to release new music throughout the year and also play some shows around the U.S. at some point!
